Tra suggestioni da "estate dell'amore", ondate di buone vibrazioni e l’azzurro infinito del Mediterraneo, Formentera mescola, nell'estate 2009, con suadente forza di suggestione, tutta il suo versante "morbido" con l’energia incontenibile della pista da ballo.
E' lo XUEÑO, il club che, nel corso del tempo, ha "segnato" l'evolversi delle stagioni e delle trasformazioni internazionali del costume che hanno fatto delle Baleari una tappa irrinunciabile sulla mappa del nomadismo giovanile, torna ad essere non soltanto una affascinante "discoteca", ma uno spazio fuori dalle geografie, dove la musica elettronica, mixata dai i dj più rappresentativi della scena internazionale, cerca davvero di unire il cuore e la mente, il linguaggio del corpo e lo spirito. Una "fusione", un "mixaggio" che è possibile solo qui, nell'Isola che ha visto avvicendarsi protagonisti delle grandi modificazioni culturali della nostra epoca, luogo su quei percorsi che hanno portato qui gruppi come i King Crimson (ricordate il brano "Formentera Lady") ed i Pink Floyd che tra questa natura hanno girato il loro film più visionario "More".
E l’aspirazione dello XUEÑO è proprio quella di riprendere e unire quei fili in movimento che, insieme, definiscono una trama sottile, dove il suono si fa linguaggio senza confini. Tutto, in questo club parla dell'essenza dell’Isola, è come se lo XUEÑO voglia perdersi tra la natura dell’isola, divenire parte di quelle ‘buone vibrazioni che, qui, ti invadono, diventano una seconda pelle.
Due livelli, due bar, una piccola area per conversare, ed una grande terrazza lounge. Dove far correre lo sguardo verso le scogliere di Ibiza, verso la fortezza, verso il mare. All'esterno lo XUEÑO ostenta la pietra formenterese, solida roccia che vuole evidenziare un legame indissolubile con le radici antiche di quest’isola. All'interno, partri irregolari bianche, con timide incursioni nel rosso e nel nero. Niente qui, è appariscente, il club si offre ai suoi visitatori come ideale appendice notturna delle ore meravigliose di relax sulle spiagge di sabbia bianchissima, il suono, anche, affonda le sue radici nella cultura latina, sensuale, rilassante. Ogni notte un dj diverso, molti nomi noti della scena internazionale ed italiana, che, qui, mixano musica cercando, sempre, una assoluta simbiosi con gli scenari e le atmosfere delle Baleari, selezionano i dischi come fossero tra amici, nell’intimità di una festa.

Biography

Few figures in contemporary music have influenced their respective fields the way Frankie Knuckles has revolutionized dance music. As one of the most renowned DJs in the world, Frankie Knuckles is still packing dance floors with his unique style for almost 30 years. Legions of admirers during his travels penned Frankie's nickname The Godfather of House the press picked up on it and made it stick. He has played a pivotal role in the creation and evolution of house music, which has become the dominant staple of dance clubs throughout the world. It was this celebrity and his constant fundraising for some of his favorite charities dealing with aids, homelessness, and education of our youth, that garnered him one of the most prestigious honors by the City Of Chicago.
On August 25th 2004, the Mayor of Chicago proclaimed the date Frankie Knuckles day, and a street naming Frankie Knuckles Way. As a Producer and Re-Mixer, Knuckles lent his talents to some of R&B and Pop music's elite.
Artists such as Mary J. Blige, Sounds of Blackness, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Michael Bolton and Toni Braxton. Frankie's production and mixing career was officially recognized by the music industry in 1997. He became the first recipient of a Grammy for Remixer of The Year and has served as a Governor and Trustee, for the NYC Chapter of The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
As an artist enjoying the success of two Virgin Records releases, Beyond The Mix and Welcome To The Real World. The first album included The Whistle Song which is most memorable as the Lipton Ice Tea commercial in the mid 90's. In 2001 Definity Records released the single Keep on Movin by Frankie Knuckles featuring vocalist Nicki Richards. The new song opened his Mix album Motivation and was the beginning of the collaboration between Knuckles and Richards 2004 A New Reality release. Billboard Magazine writes in the Album Reviews noteworthy section Knuckles strings together an inspirational and spiritual collection of gossel-infused club songs. With critical acclaim from nearly every Electronic Dance and Club Culture magazine through out North America and Europe. Definity strategic crossover plan launched with a visibility campaign in Major Chains for Black History Month in February. Reviews in Vibe, Ebony, Black Beat, Essence, and BET made this Motivation album thefirst Def Mix Productions release to garner recognition with mainstream Afro American press. Knuckles was back in the USA mainstream with his positive message. The launch of his Motivation world tour put Knuckles message again in the forefront on an International level and Knuckles realizes post 9/11 was a New Reality for him. In 2003 Knuckles released an exclusive mix album for Armani AX which also renewed his positive Message, and introduced the forthcoming studio album.
He started digging through the vaults and writing, and came up with his first studio album to release in 7 years. A New Reality released April 2004 in the USA, UK, Italy, Australia, and Japan simultaneously, and continues to receive media attention. Knuckles Launches his A New Reality” Tour on the heals of his Bac N da Day success around the globe. Bac N da Day is the first collaboration in 20 years with long time friend, House legend and co writer Jamie Principle. His second single Matter of Time features Nicki Richards, who is one of the most sought after vocalists in the USA. She works with everyone from Janet Jackson to Stevie Wonder. A breath of fresh air, Nicki is featured on half the album and is backed by some of the most amazing vocalists the business has to offer. She also sings with Will Downing who sings backing vocals for her on What's Goin On.
Knuckles continues to use his celebrity and much of his spare time providing entertainment for various AIDS charity events. He supports anything that has to do with children, noted as saying I cannot stand to hear a child cry of want, hunger, or a lack of love. He has let his services for many past organizations, including Meals on Wheels, GMHC, Pediatric AIDS, and most recently Harvey Milk School.

Biography

Satoshi’s music career began at an early age when his parents encouraged him to study the piano. He trained for an admirable ten years, developing a distinct passion for Jazz. Soon after the sound of Hip Hop provoked him to start his foray into DJ’ing and production. Then came house as Satoshi became fascinated by the early Chicago mix-tapes he was hearing.
A Japanese cosmetic company asked Satoshi to produce a track for their forthcoming promo parties where the legendary DJ Frankie Knuckles was performing. Knuckles saw the potential in Satoshi’s music and asked if he was interested in collaborating. The final result of their partnership was “Tears”, a defining moment in vocal house and a song now commonly regarded as an all time classic. Satoshi soon took the leap and moved to New York. Since his seminal hit “Tears” back in 1989, he has gone on to become a major part of the acclaimed Def Mix crew. Although Satoshi’s beginnings were based on his musicianship as a classically trained musician, he used his talents in the early years of his career to write, program and produce some of the biggest classic house records of our time. Satoshi also has remixed and worked with the likes of Photek, Kosheen, Simply Red, David Bowie, U2 and Mariah Carey, just to name a few.
Satoshi’s debut solo album was 2000s massive Full Lick. The album featured the outstanding Satoshi anthem ‘Love In Traffic’ with Kelli Ali (ex-Sneaker Pimps) on vocals. The track was picked up by John Digweed for his Global Underground mix and remains a progressive classic to this day. The album also included ‘Darkness’ featuring veteran house vocalist Robert Owens, and ‘Inspired’ featuring Diane Charlamagne. In 2001, Satoshi Tomiie launched his own label “SAW.RECORDINGS”. It was Satoshi’s desire to create a platform from which he would be able to showcase ideas and creativity that are more experimental. SAW’s first single release “Paranoize” by Bipath (A collaboration work with Stephane K.) caused major excitement from DJ’s worldwide. If SAW.RECORDINGS is an example of the direction that Satoshi is heading in, he is acknowledging the changes in the dance music scene, thus shifting what House music is. House music never stops evolving and expanding its borders and Satoshi Tomiie is in the forefront of this movement.
Satoshi’s Saw Recordings label has carved out a niche and has earned a formidable reputation for credible club grooves. Taking its name from a sound wave, the company has to date unleashed over 60 singles along with 4 albums including Chab’s sublime variety of rock, electro and house tracks, SLOK, Guy Gerber, Audiofly X, Jim Rivers, Nick Chacona, Nathan Fake, Lexicon Avenue and Satoshi’s own mix compilations ES and ES-B. When Satoshi was invited by compilation kings Global Underground to contribute a mix to their NuBreed series, it was a great honor. Satoshi is the first American based DJ to be asked to record a NuBreed album which is known for only working with the leading cutting edge DJ’s. Satoshi’s album remains the fastest and highest selling NuBreed to date.
Receiving the highest honor as a DJ, in 2001 Satoshi Tomiie was voted by the public into the 30 spot of the World’s Top 100 DJ List and Best Tech House DJ Ibiza DJ Award. Satoshi is also finding International recognition now as a Label owner besides his proven talents as a DJ, Producer / Artist and Musician. The last few years have been all about DJing for Satoshi. This Japanese New Yorker has been virtually everywhere you can think of in recent years, in March 05 Tomiie was also voted Americas 15 favorite DJ in the world by the premier Electronic magazine BPM. He only spins in his home city (Tokyo) every six months or so; the rest of the time he’s traveling, using the Big Apple as a second home which also serves as a handy midpoint between Asia, South America and Europe - where a lot of his gigs are.
In 2006, Satoshi was chosen to mix the first album of Renaissance’s new series 3D. The 3 CD series will include the following discs: Club, Home, and Studio. This is a step above any ordinary compilation as it will offer a 3-dimensional view into Satoshi’s musical life spread across the three discs. The ‘Club’ disc will be a straight-up reflection of the sets he is currently playing in clubs. Disc 2 ‘Studio’ disc will feature a selection of his original productions and remixes. Disc 3 will be ‘Home’, a selection of tracks; mixed or unmixed that Satoshi listens to in his downtime and tracks that has influenced him over the years. Following up with the releasing of successful ‘Masters’ series on Renaissance and releasing of his own singles ‘Glow’ in 2007 as well as ‘Solar Wind’ in 2008 on SAW.RECORDINGS, Satoshi is now preparing another album planned to be released late 2008 for Renaissance. The collaboration with Audiofly, Opus Ink’s 2nd single is also in the pipeline.
Although Satoshi is quiet and unassuming; he gets on with the job of playing and producing quality underground dance music.

Biography

Tania Vulcano was born in Uruguay, but has lived in Ibiza for the last 10 years. This talented DJ is very well known on the island and has rapidly gained international recognition. It was four years ago that she became resident at Space and DC 10 (Circo Loco) whichhas served as a stage for her international success.
2003 was a very exciting summer!! Not only did her residencies at Space and DC 10's Circoloco make her a true Ibiza favorite, but also her recently released “Criminal Groove” (Stomp Recordings, Spain)has created a big stir among the island's underground, and world's top DJs such as Timo Mass and Pete Tong. On top she was nominated for Ibiza DJ Awards as Best Island DJ, and touring just doesn't stop!!
Tania's career began around 10 years ago, at small clubs in Palma de Mallorca, but it was upon reaching Ibiza that she began to make a name for herself. The past two summers have been specially important since Circo Loco at DC10 was considered the best and most underground party on the island. Here Tania has had the opportunity to spin alongside Tenaglia, Mr C , Fatboy Slim, Terry Farley, amongst others.
Muzik magazine(UK) comments in it's ‘Saints & Sinners' September 2001 issue: “ It may come as a surprise to you, but members of Muzik's staff in biza sometimes find themselves tired and emotional. DC 10 ressie Miss Vulcano, has proven to be something of a Godsend in this respect, giving new energy to tired limbs with her after hours blend of Tenaglian funk on a Monday morning.” Precisely Mr Tenaglia himself has named her amongst his favorite island residents in this year's DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs issue.
Apart from her Ibizan residencies she is currently bi-monthly resident for The End's Superfreak (London), monthly for WAD @ Queen (Paris), the Circoloco Globetrotters Tour, and Space World Tour.
Vulcano's unique vibe must take strength in this last name (yes it is her real surname) as she delivers relentless, flowing rhythm in a journey into true deep, underground sounds. Tania's style goes from Deep, Funky, House, Tribal, filled with percussion. Her energy is evident in each session and she wins crowds over with the incessant base of quality house music!
This summer she spent driving Circo Loco's dancefloor mad and playing at top clubs in Europe, she is currently in an extensive European tour until the end of the year and then setting off to South and North America in the first part of 2004.
As she continues to evolve as a producer and DJ, Tania Vulcano's career is definitely on a steep rise!!!!

“Avrei potuto fare l’architetto, lo dico perché facendo il DJ non sono andato poi così lontano.
In console mi trovo a dare forma, attraverso il suono organizzo lo spazio”.
Claudio Coccoluto, il DJ, 45 anni si muove con esperienza e saggezza ma con l’energia e la passione dei vent’anni tra le console di tutto il mondo.
All’inizio della storia quando comprò il primo disco della sua vita, Goats Head Soup dei Rolling Stones, la musica lo aveva già conquistato. Durante gli anni passati nel negozio di suo padre fino all’acquisto del primo campionatore è tutto un pensare, un creare, un disegnare la rotta. Consapevole che la musica è il suo linguaggio, il suo codice per comunicare con il mondo.
Dalla musica arrivano infinite possibilità per “giocare” con la realtà, inizialmente non pensava di fare il dj, comprava dischi rock e leggeva giornali musicali.
A tredici anni con i suoi vinili si presentò in una piccola radio locale e gli affidarono subito il programma della sera dalle 20.00 alle 21.00. La sua programmazione era tutta orientata al rock, poi grazie alla prima elettronica e alla scoperta delle produzioni di Giorgio Moroder approda nella “ballabilità”.
Tutta la sua carriera è segnata dalla scoperta, dal desiderio di arrivare in territori nuovi per organizzare nuove sfide. Alla fine degli anni ’70 conosce Mozart e Daniele Baldelli, due personaggi che cominciavano a rendere interessante il mestiere del dj, quell’arte che permette di suonare contemporaneamente due vinili facendoli diventare un altro suono. Intuì che fare il dj aveva in sé qualcosa di creativo, che il dj può liberare la musica dai vincoli dei generi, dai blocchi accademici di cui sono schiavi molti musicisti.
Seguendo la musica era arrivato a un linguaggio libero e universale, che prometteva nuovi e infiniti approdi.
La musica é la mia giornata. La occupa, la invade. E non solo la notte quando metto i dischi nei club, ma anche quando, appena, sveglio, mi applico ai piatti e al mixer per provare. Ascolto per ore nuovi brani, musiche inedite, artisti ai primi passi scovati su internet nei tanti siti on line. Poi ci sono gli esordienti che mi mandano i loro lavori e chiedono pareri, attenzione e anche, naturalmente, indicazioni. Ogni giorno è l’occasione per riflettere sul futuro del lavoro del dj, se sia davvero in sintonia con una età anagrafica che ha superato i 40 anni.
Claudio Coccoluto seguendo la strada della musica è diventato il DJ, instancabile alchimista del suono che ha portato il djing italiano ai vertici della scena internazionale. “l’italiano artista” (come è stato definito da alcuni magazines internazionali) ha creato uno stile universale.

Biography

Antonio Ferrari, aka DJ Ralf, nasce il 20/09/1957 a Bastia Umbra in provincia di Perugia e fin dalla più tenera età viene ribattezzato Ralf da amici e familiari.
Dopo aver lavorato in piccoli locali della sua provincia approda alla consolle del Cocoricò dove tuttora è Resident DJ ogni primo sabato del mese. Oltre che al Cocoricò ha lavorato e lavora in moltissimi altri locali famosi, sia in Italia che all'estero: Adrenaline, Alterego, Area City, Divinae Follie, Echoes , Ethos Mama, Fluid, Goa, Guendalina, Hollywood (serata Pervert), Maffia, Matis, Mazoom, Metropolis, Muretto, Pervert, Pleigine, Red Zone, Tenax , Villa delle Rose, Amnesia di Ibiza, Cavo Paradiso di Mykonos, Crobar di Miami in occasione della Winter Music Conference, Ministry of Sound di Londra, Pacha di Ibiza, Roxy di Amsterdam, Space di Ibiza, Vertigo di Londra.
Collabora regolarmente con l'organizzazione delle "Folies de Pigalle" ogni prima e terza domenica del mese, con "Colazione Da Tiffany" e dal '94 con il Made In Italy Ibiza sia in Italia ma soprattutto ad Ibiza. Nel 2001 è stato regular guest al Ministry of Sound di Londra nella serata chiamata Rulin'.
Scrive una rubrica tutta sua chiamata "Touch and Go" per la rivista Discoid dove recensisce vari dischi, esprime le sue opinioni e racconta le sue avventure… Durante la settimana della moda milanese lo si trova alla consolle della sfilata di D-Squared2… Nel 2003 gli viene dedicata una puntata nel documentario del regista Alberto D'Onofrio, DJ'S TRIP, trasmesso su da Cult Network (SKY)… Un vero e proprio viaggio alla scoperta della sua vita professionale e personale.

Luca Agnelli, 32 anni, toscano, dj, producer remixer in continua evoluzione musicale, sempre alla ricerca di nuovi stimoli ed obiettivi, sperimentando sempre nuovi percorsi, reinventando nuovi linguaggi. Eclettico, creativo, coinvolgente, dallo stile inconfondibile, trasmette passione ed adrenalina, fa sognare ed emozionare.
Nei suoi set manipola, trasforma, contamina i suoni alla ricerca delle infinite combinazione possibili sfidando canoni e pregiudizi, giocando sapientemente con la tecnologia e tutto quello che gli permette di creare e rielaborare la musica; non ama porre confini al proprio suono catalogandolo in un unico genere, ma si percepiscono facilmente le sue radici house, fortemente influenzate dalla techno e deep piu' contemporanea.
Collabora regolarmente con La Noche Escabrosa programma su radio M2o che manda in onda i suoi mixati. Da gennaio 2007 è testimonial Ableton live (www.backline.it).
A novembre 2005 è stato selezionato per far parte della giuria del progetto europeo "AMAZE ME", realizzato dalla Show Studio di Londra per il lancio della nuova PlayStation Portatile (PSP).
Nel 2004 gli è stato assegnato il premio Bybloscar per la categoria Miglior DJ dell'anno (nel 2003 ha vinto Coccoluto e nel 2002 Joe T. Vannelli).

A marzo 2006 è uscito con il progetto Quick Trick ed intitolato Acid Bell su Stereo Seven Plus.
A gennaio 2007 è uscito il suo progetto Etruria composto da due diverse tracce intitolate Chimera e Cassero, su Laterra recordings, l'etichetta del dj Ralf.
A febbraio 2007 ha remixato The Whistler di Claude Vonstroke, uscito su Dirtybird records, (l etichetta di Claude Vonstroke) e Godeeva records. Il rmx è stato firmato come Claude VonStroke vs Luca Agnelli rmx.

Tommy Vee è nato a Venezia nel 1973, vero nome Tommaso Vianello, dj e produttore da 10 anni. Suona musica house cantata con influenze soul. Famoso per essere stato ospite della casa del Grande Fratello 4, ospite fisso di Buona Domenica tra il 2004 e il 2005, oggi fa parte della scuderia di Radio Dee Jay partecipando a diversi programmi radiofonici tra cui Selecta. Ha suonato nei migliori discoteche tra cui Area /Mestre, Muretto e Matilda / Jesolo, Klub , Extra e Villa Barbieri /Padova. Ma anche al Paradiso di Rimini, alla Villa delle Rose di Misano, al Meccanò di Firenze, all'Amnesia di Ibiza, allo Xueno di Formentera, allo Slava di Mosca, al Griphon di Miami e in tante altre. Ha prodotto grandi successi come Laguna, Live to Tell di Lucrezia e diverse compilation mixate come la fortunatissima 99 days in da house Tommy Vee selection vol.1 e la vol 2 che hanno venduto più di 40.000 copie. Durante l'estate 2005 è restato in classifica con la compilation Housterity e l'album First! di cui fa parte anche Anthouse, Don't be blind, tormentone della stessa estate e musica dello spot delle patatine Pringles di cui Tommy è stato testimonial. FIRST! è il primo album di pezzi inditi del dj, un successo senza precedenti, più di 40mila copie vendute in 5 settimane, nella top 15 della Fimi: 2 volte al 5 posto una all'ottavo poi al 15 e al 14, recensioni nei migliori network radiofonici e tv, redazionali nei magazines più letti. Tra l'altro con più di 15 settimane di totale permanenza nelle classifiche di vendita gli ha conferito proprio ultimamente la certificazione per il raggiungimento del secondo disco d'oro. A Dicembre 2005 è uscito l'album "Finally" firmato Moltosugo, (alias Tommy Vee + Keller suo socio, con cui condivide uno studio di registrazione e firma, come tutti sanno, i vari remix, come quelli di Laura Pausini o come "De fact" che quest'estate ha dominato le classifiche e il Festivalbar cantata da Moony). Da Finally è appena stato estratto il nuovo singolo cantato da Ce Ce Rogers "Supamodel" attualmente in programmazione nelle radio e in promozione che gli ha garantito le uscite per i programmi televisivi: Random, Cd Live, Top of the Pops, Le Invasioni Barbariche, Markette, Buona Domenica, Verissimo e Quelli che il calcio.

From his incredible long residence at the Top Ibiza Club PACHA and worldwide hits we always remember 'I Luv U Baby' the unique Undiscovered Ibiza series, DJ Pippi and Jamie Lewis feat Kim Cooper 'Impress Me' Purple Music, Fatal Fatal on Defected, Papacha "Benimussa" Papacha "Sentossa" on Stereoproductions.
Pippi has always been at the forefront of the island vibe in projecting a positive Ibiza musical image. During the winter he has spent a lot of time and energy in the new I.K.L. Studio in Ibiza. DJ Pippi created a new project under the name I.K.L. working together with djs and producers like, Rules of the Deep, Pierre Ravan, Cesar de Melero, Chus & Ceballos, David Penn, Danny Marquez and many more.
The follow up to the last year's Club Anthem ”Impress Me" by Jamie Lewis & DJ Pippi is scheduled to be released before summer of course, always with the sexy and original vox of Ms.Kim Cooper and DJ Pippi & Jamie Lewis In The Mix 2006.
Most of the island will therefore be immensely pleased to hear that for summer 2006, DJ Pippi reconfirmed his residency on Thursday @ Xueno Club in Formentera Island, the best and only place on the little white island, and every Saturday ”People from Ibiza" again takes place @ Garden Terrace of Amnesia with DJs: DJ Pippi, Cesar de Melero and DJ Oliver.

Biography

Willie Graff was born to American parents on the island of Ibiza, the nerve center of electronic music. He started developing a taste for music at a very early age because of his father, a music lover and music programmer for a radio station during the heyday of Ibiza in the 80s. Willie was fortunate to experience the white islands magic at the tender age of 13, when he began frequenting local nightclubs and listening to house music. Willie got his first DJ residency at a beach club playing all styles of music at the age of 14. After only one year, he was spinning in many of the popular bars on the island as well as on Ibizas most popular radio station, Cadena 100. It was at this time that Willie was discovered and asked to guest DJ at Ibizas world famous club, Pacha. A few months later, he became Pachas youngest resident DJ and is still there today during the summer season. Willie has played in some of the finest clubs all over the world in recent years in the following countries: Germany, Russia, Dubai, Spain, France, UK, USA,Switzerland.
Willie is a music purist who doesnt like to limit himself to any particular style of music. He plays an eclectic array of house music, but is best known for his deep & moody trademark sound. Willie relocated to New York City three years ago to accept an invitation to be resident DJ of New Yorks most reputable club, Cielo. In the last few years, Cielo has gained international recognition as the premier house music club in America. Cielo has won numerous awards including, Best Club Venue in the US by Dancestar in 2004, Best Club 2005 by Club World and many more.

Furthermore, has just started producing music and will have his first record released in September 2005 on the German label, Out Of Orbit. At present, Willie is in an enviable situation enjoying the best of both worlds: Pacha, Ibiza during the summer months and Cielo, NYC the rest for the year. Not bad for a 22 year old! The best is yet to come

Giovanissimo, Enzo Cipolletta, entra nel circuito musicale come ideatore di programmi radiofonici in cui passa in rassegna il meglio dell’avanguardia musicale della fine degli anni Ottanta. Fin da questi precocissimi approcci, la spiccata curiosità intellettuale e l’orecchio raffinato fanno di Cipolletta un vero e proprio pioniere dell' avanguardia musicale che dall’acid jazz al trip hop, dal jungle al drum and bass attraversa tutte le possibili evoluzioni elettroniche di genere.
Nei primi anni 90, quando esordisce come dj, Enzo è per tutti un autentico esploratore di tendenze musicali emergenti e ben presto inizia a collaborare con i più importanti gruppi di promozione del territorio nazionale.
Nel 1994, al seguito degli Angels of Love, si esibisce al fianco dei big della dance music internazionale.
Fin dal 1996 inizia il sodalizio con i Funk Machine, precursori della house music a Napoli e fondatori dello storico S’move light bar, luogo cult del lifestyle partenopeo di cui Enzo è tuttora Art director. A partire dallo stesso anno, in linea con un percorso di evoluzione artistica che muove dai singolari sviluppi della dance music post Detroit, Cipolletta inizia la lunga collaborazione con il Velvet, noto ed esclusivo club dell'’underground cittadino e autentica fucina di sperimentazione musicale che ben presto si impone a livello internazionale con il progetto itinerante siglato “Deleteria”.
Dal 1997, Cipolletta è dj resident della serata cult della black music a Napoli: tutti i martedì al Dry doc con il meglio delle produzioni e degli artisti del genere. Nel 1997, quando a curare il suo booking è Arte DinamiKa, storico gruppo di entertainment con art director Claudio Coccoluto, le esibizioni al fianco dei più quotati dj della scena dance internazionale si alternano agli impegni radiofonici.
Radio Quinta Rete FM produce il nuovo programma ideato da Cipolletta che, in tre spazi settimanali e per due anni, diffonde la neonata sperimentazione chill out, la felice contaminazione funk dell' house, meglio conosciuta come Deep house, e gli albori dell' elettro.
Perfino l’industria tessile si è accorge della dirompente forza espressiva di Enzo che concepisce “Costello”: singolare progetto interculturale che fonde, in un solo marchio, musica inedita e abbigliamento streetware. Sull’onda di questo straordinario fermento creativo, Cipolletta inizia a collaborare con i Question Mark girando l’Italia in lungo e in largo, nei luoghi cult della dance music.
Nel 1998 la prima stagione ibizenca: Enzo apre il dance floor nelle serate siglate “Made in Italy” al Pacha e, con i suoi raffinati lounge set, affascina il pubblico di location chill music.
Con il progetto di entertainment itinerante firmato “Made in Italy” gli impegni si infittiscono: Enzo suona nei migliori club delle maggiori città della penisola e, nel 2004, al Discoteque club di Barcellona.
Nel 2005 è la volta di Formentera dove, ancora una volta, non smentisce la sua versatilità espressiva: all’ora del tramonto apre a Josè Padilla o a Willie Graff come dj resident del km 10.7 Vista y Sol, e, “ a la tarda de la noche”, fa impazzire il dance floor del Xueno, la discoteca più cool dell'’isola!
Dal 2005 ad oggi è direttore artistico del prestigioso “10.7” di Formentera, collabora con XUENO Formentera, “Deleteria” ibizenco e con il Hotel Pacha’ Ibiza.
Tra le Baleari, le metropoli italiane e Napoli, e senza mai trascurare l’innata passione per la radio, non si contano le performance al fianco di guest di fama internazionale e la creazione di “ambienti sonori” di cui è maestro. Biography

Born in Milan on February 1975, Gianluca Iavarone aka "Monoki" started his love for music at a very early age, as young as 10 years old he started playing drums. He played for several years before ultimately becoming addicted to the buyng and playing of music.
With is uncle, an owner of a local radio station, Gianluca had his first experience doing DJ at the age of 15. In 1994 began travelling the world and had the opportunity to discover a variety of music influences and began to show interest in different genres.
Funky music is the sound that Gianluca was looking for and frequented used vinyls stores and markets to collect this special kind of music.
Thanks to his never ending love for every type of good music, he is now locally recognized for being able to spink funky, r&b, classic house, disco 70 and rock. He has the unique ability to appeal to as many different clubbers as possibile without losing his unique sound.
There are just few places where DJ Monoki played: 4&B, Ole Madrid (San Diego USA); Nikkibeach, Shoreclub, Casanova Lounge (Miami USA); Kudeta, Liquid (Bali Indonesia); El Fanar (Sharm el Sheikh Egypt). He also played in big and famous clubs around Italy: Prive Fluid (Bergamo), Paparazzi (Crema), Extra Extra (Padova), Mantra (Porto Rotondo), Snoopy, Cafe' Concerto, Jam (Modena), Joia (Roma), Tocqueville 13, Spazio Fitzcaraldo, Old Fashion, Atlantique, Eleven and more (Milano).
He collaborated also with big world company: Samsung, Microsoft, Vodafone, L'Oreal, Luis Vuitton, Valentin Yudashkin, Tommy Hilfiger. He designed music for their fashion shows and events.
In Milan he played as resident DJ in some of famous clubs in the city: Mybali, Shu, Must. Collaborating with Must born in winter 2007 the compilation "This is your sound?", edited by Lello Mascolo (Radio 105), within two tracks that bear the signature of Monoki (DJ Kama / I need you baby - Will you be mine).
Summer 2006 Gianluca arrived in the Balearic islands where began a fruitful collaboration with the most popular bars and clubs of Formentera's island, and soon became the driving force of the night lifestyle. So becomes resident dj of Xueno, Pachanka, Peperoncino, Neropaco Mood Cafe and host powerfull aperitifs right on the beach waiting the sunset at Giallo.
Summer 2008 he produced Neropaco Mood Cafe compilation, currently being distribuited throughout Europe. Compiled and mixed by Monoki it contains three songs that he produced: Set my sex, Pure Carbon, Diamond.
It's just in Formentera that Gianluca starts to collaborate with the team "Feedback" (Adri Tur, Roberto Navarro, Ru DJ) with which cooperates playing at Somni (Ibiza). Here he had the opportunity to touch the reality of Ibiza Global Radio the most famous radio network of the island.
Winter 2009 he starts to collaborate with the biggest techno djs of the world, spinning records worm upping AudioFly, Steve Lawler, Paco Osuna, Nick Curly at Flying Circus and Nikki Beach (Miami USA).
Thanks to its varied collaboration Gianluca offer a real journey into the music world, starting with the roots of soul and funk passing by the origin of house music up to contemporary language of electronic music.
